WE BUILT UCG AROUND A SIMPLE BELIEF:

Doing MORE For
Your People
Can Also Mean
MORE For Your
Business.

We believe the best solutions shouldn’t force employers to choose between taking care of their people and taking care of their business. They should do both.

That’s why UCG brings together smarter health benefits and employer solutions designed to create meaningful value on both sides, helping businesses uncover new opportunities while giving the people behind them greater support, access and resources.

They should do both.
MORE FOR YOUR BUSINESS. MORE FOR YOUR PEOPLE.
ABOUT UNIVERSAL CARE GROUPS
MORE for your business. MORE for your people.

WHY UCG EXISTS

Because your
employees aren't just
employees.

They’re people with families, responsibilities, goals and lives that extend far beyond the workplace.

And when businesses have better ways to support them while strengthening the business at the same time, we believe everyone can win.

More for your business. More for your people.

That’s what UCG is here to create.

“
A successful business and a cared-for workforce aren't competing goals.

Jason Pratt

FOUNDER, UCG
Care should actually feel like care.

WHERE IT STARTED

For our founder,
healthcare became
personal long before
UCG existed.

Jason Pratt’s journey into healthcare started with his grandmother.
While visiting her, he watched the home healthcare workers who were supposed to be caring for her distracted by their phones while she needed help with basic things like meals and medication.
It left him with a simple question:

Is this what care is supposed to look like?

For Jason, the answer was no.
That experience ultimately led him into the healthcare industry, where he became an owner of a home healthcare company and gained firsthand experience with the systems, regulations and challenges surrounding the way care is delivered.
But it also shaped something more fundamental:
Healthcare isn’t just a business expense, an insurance policy or another line on a benefits package.

It affects whether someone can get the medication they need. Whether they can take care of their health before a problem becomes bigger. Whether a parent has the energy to be there for their children, and someday, their grandchildren.

And for employers, taking care of people means recognizing that the person who comes to work every day has a life and a family that matter beyond the workplace.
That belief became part of the foundation for UCG.

Not simply finding more benefits to offer, but finding better ways for businesses to create meaningful value for the people and families who depend on them.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Taking care of your people and your business shouldn't be competing goals.

Great employers recognize that behind every employee is a life: families, responsibilities, doctor visits, prescriptions, financial needs and goals that extend far beyond work.

But supporting those people shouldn’t have to come at the expense of the business.

That's where UCG sees opportunity.

We look for strategies, programs and resources that can create meaningful value on both sides, strengthening the business while giving employees and their families greater support, access and resources.

BUSINESS
PEOPLE
SUPPORT

That could mean helping a business reduce costs.

That could mean helping a business reduce costs.

Helping an employee bring more money home.

Making healthcare easier to access.
Giving a growing company access to resources it couldn’t easily build on its own.
Or simply helping an employer discover a better way of doing something they’ve always assumed had to be done the traditional way.
MORE FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Reduce costs. Simplify responsibilities. Create financial value.
MORE FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Improve access. Provide meaningful benefits. Support employees and families.
We believe good business and taking care of people can go hand in hand.

When businesses are stronger, they have greater opportunities to invest, grow and create jobs.

When employees feel supported and valued, that impact can extend beyond the workplace to the people they go home to every day.

That's the kind of win-win UCG is built to find.

WHAT WE'RE BUILDING

Better options
start with
knowing what's
possible.

One of the things we’ve learned is that many employers aren’t making bad decisions.
They simply don’t know all of the options available to them.
Businesses are often presented with the same traditional approaches year after year and understandably assume those are the choices they have.
UCG exists to help change that.

We look for opportunities others may overlook.

We bring together benefits, employer solutions and strategic relationships that can help businesses find new ways to:

Create Financial Value

Identify opportunities that can help strengthen the financial side of the business.

Take Better Care of Their People

Expand access to healthcare, benefits and resources that can make a meaningful difference for employees and their families.

Simplify the Responsibilities of Being an Employer

Connect businesses with support across areas like HR, payroll, compliance, benefits and workforce administration.

Build for What's Next

Continue looking for better solutions as the needs of employers and their people evolve.
We don't believe employers should be limited to the options they've always been given.
Our role is to understand what a business needs, help uncover what’s possible and bring the right solutions together.

Because sometimes the biggest opportunity is simply knowing there's another way.

The people behind MORE.
